Covid has been tough

Call your mates. I recently came from the US to WA for fire season (summer). My family (wife 3 year old and 4 month old I've not met) are in Vic.

I landed in Adelaide late October and because of border restrictions I could not go home to Victoria as I would not have been allowed to enter WA without two weeks self funded Gaol.

I called on a 25 year old friend of mine in WA. He was well, doing ok and keen to catch up when I landed in WA.

He however had been stuck here for the better part of two years and was not ok.

After Quarantine and upon my arrival in Perth I learnt that this great young man (who owned his own business as a builder and doing very well for himself) recently broke up with his girlfriend and decided to end life.

Boys, Covid has been tough.

I've lost my grandmother, and a really good mate.

But if you're feeling down call us. We will get there.

It's takes a bit longer at the minute but we will be there.

Love you all keep on kicking ass and making this country turn through these bullshit times.
